about

The pieces on this volume of Time Left Dubs were made between 1999 and 2009. Some pieces have been released in different forms / versions. Full date & release history described below.

into vent n is from 1999. Most of the track is a loop of an old field recording made at Denver Art Museum. It was released in a longer version on the three way split CD "Triple Occupancy" (with De Fabriek and Implicit Order).

el Piso was recorded in July 2005. It was made by reusing some of the base tracks from la Flor which appears elsewhere on this collection, minus the samples provided by Florian Filsinger and Tarkatak. It has never been previously released.

el Tiburon was recorded in January of 2005, part of the 3 song collection of works made with sources provided by Lutz Pruditsch of sounds by him and Florian Filsinger. These have never been previously released.

Sweet Thing was recorded in January of 2009, toward the end of the sessions that produced both Awkward Hugs, and the first volume of these Time Left Dubs. It has never been previously released.

Russian Lesson was recorded in November 2008, and was also part of the Awkward Hugs sessions. Never has been released. The voice is a "phone post" from LiveJournal of an old LJ friend who I've fallen out of contact with.

Misconceptions was recorded in November 2008 for the anonymous collective project Tribe of Astronauts' album "Shardmonic". On that release it was titled "Two Misconceptions" and was a longer, sparser version.

Return to Normalcy was recorded in November 2008, and has never been released.

la Flor was recorded in January 2005 using sound sources provided by Lutz Pruditsch of Tarkatak, and Florian Filsinger. It has never been released.
