Earlier in 2021, an old music friend of mine crossed my mind, someone i had known from LiveJournal, but had fallen out of contact with. I wanted to see how she was doing, but learned that she had died just a month prior. The news hit me harder than expected. In the weeks after learning of her death, I made some drone work using some of the early demos of her work that she had posted to LJ, and some music that we had exchanged privately, and some files she had sent me to use on my previous album Aughtet.

I had known her as Tali, or Talithaa, she was on LiveJournal with usernames like mymirror and fluidmirror. Her real name was Victoria Lukas, and that later became her artist name.
