This collaboration came out of a bunch of site recordings I made at the pewter sculpture factory I worked at in Estes Park, Colorado sometime in 1998 or 1999. I sent these on DAT to Phil Klingler and he came up with this stunning set of psychedelic collage-noise. The original plan was for me to take some sources he had sent to me, and we would do a full length collaboration, but I was unable to come up with anything that I felt was of the same quality as Phil's work. So these recordings got set aside and eventually all but forgotten about, until Phil recovered them recently. We both agreed it was an essential document of that time period in underground abstract music, and should be released. Big thanks for PBK for his music, and his effort in recovering and preparing this release!
