Half of these pieces were conceived in Autumn 2019 and the rest were made in Autumn 2020.
Further work, including mixing and finalizing was done in Late 2020.

The bulk of this work was made during an extremely trying time. It was the pandemic, but also the lead up to election time, and also during the indescribable, gutwrenchingly horrific, historic 2020 fire season in Colorado... when the skies were black and our lungs ached for months.
It was also a time when I when I was working on dismantling the factory where I had worked for 25 years, and feeling very emotional about it. An inauspicious time to be sure.
Further, I had the five year anniversary of my trauma-inducing, nearly fatal 2015 medical emergency and month-long hospital stay (the track "five years" was initiated on the anniversary).

These years have been so hard on us all, at least we have music.
For me, this is the positive outcome from such a difficult time.
